Secret to Making a
Professional Marketing Video

Lesson Ten
Step 3: Choosing, Downloading and Installing the Software

In this session, we'll review software options and you will need to make the video professional. We will also go over stock footage sites for you to include professional clips for the video. In the following session, we will go over in more detail the kinds of video stock footage you can add to your timeline for your marketing video, including some new done for you clips, and some amazing stock footage on the free sites. So stay tuned, and if you want to wait to complete the Stock Footage and Music Tool Storyboard Update Portion until the next session, feel free to wait until you watch the next session video.  In a future session, we will go into more detail, with step by step editing to create a project. There are different size options but for now, choose 1920X1080p. We will go over the different sizes for different media platforms in a later video.

Watch the Video.

Download the Video Editing Software Slides.

Download the Stock Footage and Music Tool.

Pick a Software that is right for you and follow the websites download and installation instructions. Also watch their tutorials on how to create a project. If there is no tutorial on their website, google "how to create a project in [name of your software]." I also recommend Movavi Video Editor or Movavi Video Editor Plus (business license), which has professional titles and an easy to use interface and editing suite which will help you move forward (the Plus version includes keyframing ability). You can learn more about Movavi here.

Download Handbrake Software here. Handbrake is a free tool for converting video from nearly any format to a selection of modern, widely supported codecs, which include smaller video files that you can upload to internet websites. This will also come in handy when you start uploading your course videos to websites.
